Event-based schedules poll the event-source continuously. However, you may prefer them to be active during certain times. Operational Hours enables you to define times when an event can trigger an Event-Based schedule.
System - Operation Hours
Operational Hours allow you to setup times during which an event is allowed to trigger an Event-Based schedule. If an event occurs during operational hours, the scheduled tasks will execute. This article will show you how to set up operational hours.
Step 1: Navigate to System Tab from the Home Screen and select Operation Hours.
Step 2: Click Add to configure Operational Hours
For example, if you only wanted ATRS to monitor your database in the during business hours, then this option would be quite useful.
Step 3: Click OK to save the Settings.
Applying Operational Hours
Now that you have set up your operational hours, you can easily integrate them into your existing Event-Based Schedules. Here's how to incorporate them seamlessly into your schedule.
Step 1: Right Click on the Event Based Schedule to view the Context Menu.
Step 2: Select Properties.
Step 3: Navigate to Schedule Options of your (Event Based Schedule).
Step 4: Check the Use Custom Hours of Operation. From the Dropdown menu Select the Hours of Operation that you want to use for this Schedule.
Step 5: Click on Apply and OK to Save the changes.
