After renewing your Annual Maintenance each year, you will receive a new license key for ATRS. It is important to update the software with this new key to ensure that ATRS continues to run smoothly.
Important
You must have internet access in order to activate ATRS. If you do not have internet access, you will need to perform a manual deactivation/activation. Please open a support ticket and we will help you with this process.
Applying the New License Key
Each year after renewing your Annual Maintenance, you will receive a new license key for your ATRS installation. This license key authenticates to our servers and gives your server "permission" to run ATRS for another year. Because our records update each time you receive a new license key, you must update the license key the software uses in order for the application to continue functioning as expected without any interruption to your service.
To update the license key to the most recent version, perform the following steps.
Step 1: Navigate to Resources.
Step 2: Select About ATRS.
Step 3: Click Edit to enter the new license key information.
- Customer Name: If this is your first time viewing this screen, you may need to enter your company name.
- Customer Number: If this is your first time viewing this screen, you may need to enter your company name. This was provided in the initial welcome email.
- License key: Enter your license key here. To enter your license key, click Enter License. The license key field will now be accessible. Enter your license key EXACTLY as it appears in your documentation.
If the incorrect license key is entered, ATRS will fail to update properly.
