PBRS can detect blank reports and either skip delivery, send the report or run another task. Failed workflows can trigger retries, notifications or alternative actions according to the configured exception-handling rules. 

Does setting up paginated-report automation require coding?

No coding is required for normal scheduling, parameter selection, exporting and delivery. Advanced integrations can also use PBRS APIs and custom tasks when needed. 

Can PBRS refresh data before exporting a paginated report?

 PBRS can include supported Power BI dataset or semantic-model refreshes within an automated workflow before report generation. It can also run independent refresh workflows. The available refresh options depend on the report’s data source and reporting environment. 

Does ChristianSteven store or access my reporting data?

No. PBRS is installed within your environment, and your reporting data remains under your organization’s control. ChristianSteven does not store your reports, datasets or exported report data in a ChristianSteven cloud service.
