PBRS Release 20230712 Now Available

PBRS Version 4.5 Build 20230712 has been released. The following enhancements along with software fixes have been included.

Enhancements

• Web Application: Introduced a new feature that allows users to create Single Report Schedules for Power BI reports.
• Implemented support for Power BI Service Principal Account and Row Level Security (RLS).
• Row Level Security Report Filters now provide the capability to utilize JSON definitions. 

Issues Resolved

• Complex sql queries are not being parsed as expected, therefore invalidating the query or returning incorrect records.
• Paginated Power BI reports with non-native Power BI rendering fails due to passing incorrect characters in the parameters.
  
  
  

Important

• Microsoft's support for Windows Server 2012 will end in October 2023.  Beginning with PBRS Version 4.5 Build 20230412 (This Build) PBRS is no longer supported on Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2.   If you have PBRS currently installed on Windows Server 2012 contact us to help you move it to Windows Server 2016 or newer.
