PBRS Release 20240214 Now Available

PBRS Version 4.5 Build 20240214 has been released. The following enhancements along with software fixes have been included.

Enhancements

• Added the ability to easily edit both Single Schedules and Single Paginated Schedules directly in PBRS Web.
• Easily create duplicates of both single and Package Schedules with the convenient Clone Schedule feature in PBRS Web.
• The parameters user interface has been enhanced with the addition of elastic search functionality, allows for browsing through all values, even when there are more than 100. Additionally, the system search has been optimized for improved efficiency.
• Utilize the .txt file format when generating exports through the 'Export Data from Database' Custom Task in an Automation Schedule.

Issues Resolved

• The "Export Data from Database" Custom Task, when utilized in an Automation Schedule, exports outputs to all destinations instead of solely active or enabled destinations as expected.
• The Excel format extension for the "Export Data from Database" Custom Task has changed the default to .xls instead of .xlsx.
• The PBRS Web installer removes any existing PBRS website, including custom user configurations such as HTTPS mappings, if it is already installed.
• Schedules that utilize Custom Calendars will automatically switch to running on a daily basis when the Calendar expires.

Important

• Microsoft's support for Windows Server 2012 will end in October 2023.  Beginning with PBRS Version 4.5 Build 20230412 PBRS is no longer supported on Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2.   If you have PBRS currently installed on Windows Server 2012 contact us to help you move it to Windows Server 2016 or newer.
